What are Counters?
Counters are the small tiles with links that appear upon login on your home screen (e.g., number of open tests) and they’re configured to pull exactly the records you care about.
They make your home-screen more actionable and tailored to your organizational needs.
There are standard counters for Document Management System and QESH which cannot be changed - however you can choose to add your own custom tiles.
Customization Options
- Custom Titles: You can add custom titles to the selected sets that will appear on the home screen. For instance, a counter can be titled "Open Follow-Ups" to link to a specific set.
- Display Location: All manually created points will be displayed under the "Operations" box on the home screen.
Criteria for Adding Sets
- Any set can be added to the home screen,You have the flexibility to choose any set from your tenant.
How to add a Counter
Because Counter definitions are managed centrally, please contact AlisQI Support and we’ll set this up for you. (support@alisqi.com)
What we’ll need to configure the Counter:

The Analysis Set name (or ID)

How you define “open” (e.g., status = Open / Not completed)

Any extra filters such as owner, location, product, etc.

The preferred name of the Counter and which section/title you would like it to appear under.
Once we’ve created it, you’ll see a Counter on your home- screen dashboard showing the live count of open actions for that Analysis Set. Clicking on it will lead you directly to those filter results.
