What are Counters?
Counters are the small tiles that appear on your home screen when you log in, showing a live count of records relevant to you (for example, the number of open tests). They are pre-configured to surface exactly the records you care about.
They make your home-screen more actionable and tailored to your organizational needs.
There are built-in standard counters for the Document Management System (DMS) and QESH modules — these cannot be changed. However, you can add your own custom counters alongside them.
QESH Counter logic: Counts actions where Owner = logged-in user and Date Completed = empty (i.e., incomplete actions assigned to you).

Customization Options
- Custom Titles: You can add custom titles to the selected sets that will appear on the home screen. For instance, a counter can be titled "Open Follow-Ups" to link to a specific set.
- Display Location: All custom counters you add will appear under the Operations section on your home screen.
Criteria for Adding Sets
- Any Analysis Set in your tenant can be added as a Counter on the home screen — there are no restrictions on which sets are eligible.
How to add a Counter

What we’ll need to configure the Counter:

The Analysis Set name (or ID)

How you define “open” (e.g., status = Open / Not completed)

Any extra filters such as owner, location, product, etc.

The preferred name of the Counter and which section/title you would like it to appear under.
Once we’ve created it, you’ll see a Counter on your home- screen dashboard showing the live count of open actions for that Analysis Set. Clicking on it will lead you directly to those filter results.
